About Me

Hi, I'm Brigit!

I live with my partner and two sons in a 1920s Art and Crafts cottage in New Lynn, Tāmaki Makaurau.

Up until the 1980s, New Lynn was covered in brick and clay factories and our house was built with bricks from one of these factories. 

From as early as I can remember I have loved the unique and been drawn to finding things with a rich history. This love started with collecting vintage clothing as a teenager and then naturally evolved into furniture, art and curios as I grew older. 

I have a particular interest in natural history and folk art. Things that are hand made, hand painted or created by nature. I have a soft spot for items that are a bit sad and broken and have taught myself a mixed bag of skills to fix them and give them a new lease on life. 

Each piece has a story to tell and I hope you love the things I find as much as I love finding and reviving them for you.
