A vintage Italian Sorrento marquetry musical jewelry box featuring an exquisite, intricate wood inlay design. The top lid showcases a classical floral urn motif with ornate scrollwork borders, and the front face is beautifully detailed with inlaid birds around the functional lock mechanism.
Inside houses a genuine Swiss mechanical music movement that plays beautifully when wound.
Crafted from fine timbers with a gorgeous lacquered finish, it stands on four small raised feet and comes complete with its original winding key and a handwritten note with some info on its history on the inside.
